What: Recruit NY Saturday Open House Event
When: Saturday April 22, 2023 (900-1200)
Where: BBFD Station #1
Purpose:
● Open the station to community members, interested parties, and BBFD members’
families to explore.
● Recruit as appropriate - follow-up opportunities from Friday event.
Activities:
● Outdoor Fitness (sandbags, steel hose, rower, etc) - Corey? / Penrose?
● Training -
○ Truck Familiarity - Scavenger Hunt with Members’ Families
○ Rope Work / Knots
○ Forcible Entry
○ Other
Needs:
● 310 Driver - at least at 900 and 1200 to set up and take down ladder outside bay area
● Members - at least 4 at all times
● Activity Lead - outdoor fitness, scavenger hunt, etc
